Students will learn the fundamental tools used in the microbiology laboratories to identify microorganisms including microscopic examination of microbial stained smears, biochemical analysis, and culturing microorganisms on special media. The course must be taken with the Bio 230 Lecture.

This laboratory course is designed for students majoring in Biology; Nursing; Dietetics, Foods, and Nutrition; Health Education; and Physical Education programs.
